This Valentine's Sugar Cookie Fudge is a delightful treat combining white chocolate, sugar cookie mix, and sweetened condensed milk, topped with festive Valentine's sprinkles and a white chocolate drizzle. Perfect for gifting or sharing at celebrations, this fudge features a creamy texture with a crunchy sprinkle topping and a sweet vanilla flavor.

Ingredients

Fudge Base

  • 3 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup sugar cookie mix (any brand)
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Valentine's sprinkles (any variety)

Drizzle

  • 3 oz white chocolate or almond bark

Instructions

  1. Prepare double boiler: Fill a medium saucepan with about 2 cups of water and bring it to a boil. Then reduce heat to low and place a heatproof glass or metal bowl on top, ensuring the bottom does not touch the water to create a gentle melting environment.
  2. Melt ingredients: In the bowl, combine the white chocolate chips, sugar cookie mix, sweetened condensed milk, and unsalted butter. Stir constantly for 3-4 minutes until everything is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Incorporate vanilla and sprinkles: Continue stirring the fudge mixture for another 2 minutes to ensure a uniform blend. Remove from heat, then stir in the vanilla extract and half of the Valentine’s sprinkles until evenly distributed.
  4. Prepare baking dish: Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving overhangs on the sides for easy fudge removal. Lightly spray the parchment with nonstick cooking spray.
  5. Pour and smooth fudge: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the surface evenly using a spatula. Tap the dish lightly on the countertop to remove air bubbles and level the fudge.
  6. Add sprinkles topping: Sprinkle the remaining Valentine’s sprinkles evenly on top and gently press them into the fudge so they adhere well.
  7. Chill: Refrigerate the fudge for 2 to 3 hours, or until firm and fully set, ensuring it holds together well when cut.
  8. Cut fudge: Using the parchment paper overhang, lift the entire fudge out of the pan and place it on a clean cutting surface. Cut into desired sized pieces for serving.
  9. Prepare white chocolate drizzle: Place the white chocolate or almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between each, until melted and smooth.
  10. Apply drizzle: Transfer the melted chocolate into a small zip-top bag, snip off a tiny corner to create a drizzle opening, and decorate the fudge pieces by drizzling chocolate over them as desired. Allow the drizzle to set before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure the double boiler water does not touch the bottom of the bowl to prevent scorching the chocolate.
  • If you don't have a double boiler, you can carefully melt the mixture in short bursts in the microwave, stirring frequently.
  • Use parchment paper with overhang to easily lift fudge out of the pan without breaking.
  • Customize sprinkles to match other holidays or themes as preferred.
  • Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • Allow fudge to come to room temperature slightly before serving for softer texture.
