A refreshing and nutrient-packed Tropical Crush Protein Smoothie combining frozen bananas, pineapple chunks, orange, coconut milk yogurt, collagen peptides protein powder, and orange juice. Perfect for a quick and healthy breakfast or post-workout boost, this smoothie offers a delicious tropical flavor with a creamy texture and added protein.

Ingredients

Fruits

  • 2 medium bananas, sliced and frozen (260 grams)
  • 2 cups pineapple chunks, frozen (250 grams)
  • 1 large orange, peel and pith removed, chopped (116 grams)

Dairy & Protein

  • 1 cup So Delicious Dairy Free Unsweetened Vanilla Coconut Milk Yogurt (227 grams)
  • 30 grams Naked Nutrition Collagen Peptides Protein Powder

Liquids & Others

  • 1/2 cup Trop 50 orange juice (4 fl oz)
  • 8-10 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Prepare ingredients: Slice and freeze the bananas in advance to ensure a creamy, chilled smoothie. Peel and chop the orange, removing all pith to avoid bitterness.
  2. Add to blender: Place the frozen bananas, frozen pineapple chunks, chopped orange, coconut milk yogurt, collagen peptides protein powder, and Trop 50 orange juice into a high-powered blender.
  3. Blend until smooth: Blend all ingredients on high speed until the mixture reaches a smooth and creamy consistency without any lumps or chunks.
  4. Adjust consistency and chill: Add 8 to 10 ice cubes to the blender and pulse a few times to chill the smoothie further and adjust thickness if desired.
  5. Serve immediately: Pour the smoothie evenly into four serving glasses and enjoy fresh for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • Using frozen fruit eliminates the need for ice but adding ice cubes further chills the smoothie without diluting flavor excessively.
  • Collagen peptides protein powder adds protein without altering the taste much; you may substitute with your preferred protein powder.
  • For a sweeter smoothie, consider adding a natural sweetener like honey or maple syrup, although the fruit usually provides enough sweetness.
  • This smoothie is dairy-free, gluten-free, and suitable for a low-fat diet.
  • Consume immediately or within a few hours for optimal freshness and nutritional value.
