Ingredients
Strawberry Peach Syrup
19 g Peaches
13 g Strawberries
25 g Water
7.50 g Cane sugar
0.20 tsp Lemon juice
Soda
2 oz Strawberry Peach syrup
6 oz Sparkling water
Ice cubes
Strawberries and peach slices for garnishing (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the fruit syrup: Cut peaches and strawberries into small slices. Place them in a small pot along with water, lemon juice, and cane sugar. Bring the mixture to a low boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer gently for 20 minutes. The strawberries should become pale in color and mushy, indicating the syrup is ready.
Cool and strain the syrup: Once the syrup has cooled to room temperature, strain out the cooked fruit pieces using a fine mesh strainer to obtain a clear syrup. Transfer the syrup into a sealable container. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one month.
Make the soda: Pour 2 oz of the prepared strawberry peach syrup into a glass filled with ice cubes. Top with 6 oz of sparkling water from your soda maker. Garnish with fresh strawberries and peach slices for added flavor and presentation. Stir gently and enjoy your homemade strawberry peach soda!
Notes
The syrup can be made in advance and refrigerated for up to one month.
Adjust the amount of cane sugar based on your preferred sweetness level.
Use a soda maker for fresh sparkling water, or use chilled sparkling water from store-bought bottles.
For a stronger fruit flavor, increase the amount of syrup added to your soda.
