A refreshing and naturally hydrating watermelon juice made with fresh watermelon, lime juice, and a hint of ginger. This invigorating drink is perfect for hot days and can be served plain or with sparkling water and mint for added zest.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 8 cups cubed seedless watermelon
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger juice

Optional Ingredients

  • Sparkling water (optional)
  • Fresh mint (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Blend Watermelon: Place the cubed seedless watermelon in a blender and blend until the mixture is smooth and liquid in texture, ensuring all the watermelon is pureed thoroughly.
  2. Strain Juice: Prepare a nut milk bag or several layers of cheesecloth over a large bowl. Pour the blended watermelon through it to strain out the pulp, extracting clear juice.
  3. Mix and Serve: Transfer the strained watermelon juice to a pitcher. Stir in the fresh lime juice and ginger juice until well combined. Optionally, serve it with sparkling water for a fizzy twist and garnish with fresh mint leaves for added aroma and freshness.

Notes

  • Use seedless watermelon to avoid bitterness and easier blending.
  • Adjust ginger juice quantity to taste depending on spice preference.
  • Sparkling water adds a refreshing effervescence but can be skipped for plain juice.
  • Fresh lime juice brightens the flavor and balances sweetness.
  • Chilling the watermelon before blending results in a cooler, more refreshing drink.
