This easy peach sangria recipe is a wonderfully refreshing and vibrant drink perfect for hot summer days. It combines crisp white wine with fresh peaches, citrus, mint, and a splash of ginger juice, creating a delightful beverage to serve over ice.

Ingredients

Liquids

  • 1 bottle white wine (pinot grigio, chenin blanc, or similar)
  • 1 cup Grand Marnier
  • Splash of ginger juice or freshly grated ginger (optional)

Fruits & Herbs

  • 3-4 peaches, sliced
  • 1 lemon or lime, sliced
  • Handful of mint and/or basil

Others

  • Handful of ice

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a large pitcher or bowl, stir together the white wine, Grand Marnier, sliced peaches, lemon or lime slices, and the optional ginger juice or grated ginger. Add the mint and/or basil leaves for fresh herbal notes.
  2. Chill: Place the sangria mixture in the refrigerator and chill until thoroughly cold, ideally for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
  3. Serve: When ready to serve, fill glasses with a handful of ice and pour the chilled peach sangria over the ice. Garnish with additional fresh herbs or fruit slices if desired.

Notes

  • Use a dry or semi-dry white wine like pinot grigio or chenin blanc for best flavor.
  • Grand Marnier adds a nice orange liqueur sweetness, but you can substitute with triple sec or Cointreau.
  • The ginger juice adds a subtle kick; feel free to leave it out if you prefer a milder sangria.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, substitute the wine and Grand Marnier with sparkling white grape juice and a splash of orange juice.
  • Letting the sangria chill for longer enhances the infusion of flavors.
