Fiery Chicken Ramen with Creamy Garlic Sauce is a deliciously comforting dish featuring tender seared chicken breast pieces marinated in soy sauce, garlic, and paprika. The creamy, spicy broth combines chicken broth, heavy cream, and chili sauce, poured over perfectly cooked instant ramen noodles. Garnished with fresh green onions and sesame seeds, this ramen recipe balances a spicy kick with rich, garlicky flavors for a satisfying meal ready in about an hour.

Ingredients

Chicken Marinade

  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Cooking

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp chili sauce
  • 2 packs instant ramen noodles (seasoning discarded)

Garnish

  • 3 stalks green onions, thinly sliced
  • Sesame seeds, for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken pieces and toss until fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to penetrate.
  2. Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken in a single layer and sear undisturbed for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer the chicken to a plate and set aside.
  3. Build the Creamy Broth: Using the same skillet, sauté any remaining garlic bits until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Pour in chicken broth and bring the mixture to a boil, scraping up any browned bits from the skillet for extra flavor. Stir in heavy cream and chili sauce, reduce heat to a simmer, and cook for 5 minutes, letting the sauce thicken slightly.
  4. Cook the Noodles: While the broth simmers, bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the instant ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions, about 3–4 minutes, until al dente. Drain and divide the noodles evenly among four bowls.
  5. Assemble the Ramen Bowls: Return the seared chicken to the creamy broth and stir to combine. Ladle the chicken and sauce evenly over the noodles in each bowl.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Top each bowl with thinly sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Serve immediately for the best balance of fiery heat and creamy garlic comfort.

Notes

  • Discard the seasoning packets from the instant ramen noodles to control the flavor and sodium content.
  • Adjust the chili sauce quantity to control the heat level according to your preference.
  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or coconut milk.
  • Marinating the chicken longer (up to 2 hours) will deepen the flavor.
  • Use fresh garlic for best flavor; pre-minced garlic can also be used but reduce amount if very strong.
