This delicious Blueberry Cheesecake Overnight Oats recipe combines creamy low-fat cottage cheese, smooth cream cheese, rolled oats, and blueberries for a nutritious and indulgent breakfast that’s ready in minutes. Enhanced with vanilla protein powder and sweetened slightly with maple syrup, these oats deliver a perfect balance of protein, fiber, and natural sweetness. Refrigerate overnight for a convenient and satisfying morning meal.

Ingredients

Base Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup low fat cottage cheese
  • 1 Tbsp cream cheese
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ⅓ cup milk (high-protein preferred)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Protein Addition (Optional)

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (Leanfit vanilla whey recommended)

Sweeteners and Toppings

  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • ½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries (frozen preferred)
  • 1 Tbsp graham cracker crumbs or granola (optional)

Instructions

  1. Choose Your Base: Decide whether you want to add the protein powder or not. This recipe works both ways but is recommended with protein powder for added nutrition.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a jar or food container, add the cottage cheese, cream cheese, rolled oats, milk, vanilla extract, salt, protein powder (if using), and maple syrup. Stir thoroughly to combine, ensuring the cream cheese is well-distributed without lumps.
  3. Add Blueberries: Top the mixture with fresh or frozen blueberries. Do not stir these in, so they remain as a fresh topping layer.
  4. Refrigerate Overnight: Cover the container and place it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. This allows the oats to soften and flavors to meld beautifully.
  5. Serve: When ready to eat, remove the oats from the fridge and add graham cracker crumbs or granola on top if desired. Enjoy cold as a wholesome and creamy breakfast treat.

Notes

  • Using frozen blueberries adds a nice chill and texture to your oats.
  • You can swap maple syrup with honey or agave syrup if preferred.
  • If cream cheese lumps are stubborn, soften it slightly before adding for easier mixing.
  • Overnight oats keep well refrigerated up to 2 days but are best fresh.
  • Adjust milk quantity to reach desired consistency—add more for thinner oats or less for a thick pudding-like texture.
